Khunjerab National Park is Pakistan's highest national park and one of the country's most extraordinary natural destinations. Covering more than 2,200 square kilometers in the Karakoram Mountains, the park protects a unique high-altitude ecosystem that is home to some of the world's rarest wildlife, including the snow leopard, Marco Polo sheep, Himalayan ibex, blue sheep, and golden eagles.
The park is best known for Khunjerab Pass, the highest paved international border crossing in the world at 4,693 meters (15,397 ft), where the Karakoram Highway connects Pakistan with China. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking mountain landscapes, vast alpine meadows, crystal-clear rivers, and unforgettable panoramic viewpoints along one of the world's most scenic road journeys.

May to October is the ideal time to visit Khunjerab National Park, with clear roads, pleasant daytime temperatures, and the best opportunities for sightseeing and wildlife viewing. November to April brings heavy snowfall and freezing conditions, which may temporarily restrict access to the park.
