Attabad Lake is one of Pakistan's most spectacular natural attractions and a must-visit destination in Hunza Valley. Formed in 2010 after a massive landslide blocked the Hunza River, the lake stretches for over 21 kilometers, creating a breathtaking landscape of brilliant turquoise water surrounded by towering Karakoram mountains.
Today, Attabad Lake is a hub for adventure and relaxation. Visitors can enjoy boating, kayaking, jet skiing, paddle boating, ziplining, and lakeside dining while taking in the incredible mountain scenery. The famous Attabad Tunnels along the Karakoram Highway offer one of the country's most scenic drives, connecting travelers to Passu, Gulmit, and Khunjerab Pass.
