Deosai National Park, often called the "Land of Giants," is one of the highest alpine plateaus in the world, stretching across Skardu, Astore, and Kharmang districts. Covering more than 3,500 square kilometers, the park is famous for its endless rolling plains, colorful wildflowers, pristine lakes, and extraordinary wildlife.
The park is home to the endangered Himalayan brown bear, as well as golden marmots, ibex, red foxes, wolves, and numerous migratory bird species. Visitors can explore the breathtaking Sheosar Lake, camp at Bara Pani, enjoy the peaceful scenery of Kala Pani, or simply drive across the vast grasslands that make Deosai unlike any other landscape in Pakistan.
Accessible only during the summer months, Deosai National Park offers unforgettable opportunities for camping, wildlife photography, stargazing, and adventure.
