Getting to Naltar The valley is accessed via a jeep track from Gilgit city (approximately 2–3 hours). Most visitors base themselves in Gilgit and day-trip or stay overnight in Naltar village.

Where to Stay Gilgit offers the widest range of hotels. Naltar has basic guesthouses near the ski resort — book ahead in peak season (June–August and ski season).
